TechEBlog » 7 Cool Gadgets You Can Make at Home
Well tech-y crafts. Instructables has got to be one of my fave sites (that I don’t regularly frequent).
I’ve long since endeavored to keep my own profile on the internet to a minimum. This blog is a big step in the wrong direction, but it’s still to a small degree anonymous (a very small degree, in fact the only degree is that i didn’t name the blog after myself). Though I suppose this kind of thing wouldn’t be too bad. I’d never use it though. I figure if I’ve lost contact, such is life…. hahaha…

From nothing to a 40″ Sony Bravia… kudos….

All Headline News – Millions Complain About New Holiday HDTV Sets – December 31, 2006
Really?!?! How are these people such idiots? REALLY!?!!? It’s as amazing as the people who apparently don’t understand that Bluray and HDDVD are (1) separate formats and (2) can’t be played on a regular dvd player.
Tek Jansen’s Explosive Gaming Experience! : PS3 Blu Ray vs Xbox 360 HD DVD vs DVD
So this guy decides that HD-DVD is better than Bluray. Of course he’s trying them out via consoles (and as such different output signals). And he’s viewing them on a 1080p set. But hey everyone is entitled to an opinion. This guy certainly makes an argument. I didn’t try clicking the pics, but I want hi-res comparison shots of a 1080p output.
Macworld: News: Garmin intros Training Center software for Mac
All companies should release Mac software (I’m looking at you Tivo!!!!). I don’t use Garmin gear. I’m not that serious a runner. My nike+ kit does just fine. But if I ever got really into it, I’d use a Garmin or a Suunto.
Planypus – Make plans with your friends
Oh there was a time in my life when this would’ve been great. I hate making plans. Of course so do my friends and I don’t think any amount of social software would’ve helped us…
BBC Magazine – 100 Things We Learned This Year
Random list by the BBC of things we learned this year. Though there are links to the info, some I remain dubious about (admittedly not having clicked through).
(And yes I realize that “So random even I don’t know what it is” would imply that I shouldn’t tag this post with other bits, but I didn’t read the whole 100 list and I’m leaving myself some grey area.)
