Traditionally I’m against this. Maybe this time it’s different since the shirts are a bigger and smaller version of the same shirt. (Although they clearly go together. And in all honesty, were I to get these I think I’d either not walk that close to my girlfriend or walk on the other side of her.).
Good idea
HERES THE NFLS WINNING SUPER BOWL AD – With Leather
Great pitch. Winning entry to NFL’s Super Bowl ad contest. Everyone thinks they can do better than what’s on every year. A lot of those people are probably right. But this one is good. Mind you, I’ve not watched other submissions, don’t even know if you can. But I like this pitch.
Apple a day
So Apple announced a bevy of greatness: Apple TV, iPhone. And of course I want both (nothing like using a personal multimedia device that runs a full OS and costs as much as a PS3). And will likely get both (Apple TV is a toss-up… 60/40 I purchase). I also want the unannounced but dropped new Airport. Of course my G4PB doesn’t have the draft n airport card, so it’s kind of useless to me. But the fact that it can act as a NAS device is heaven. I HATE being tethered to my external hard drive.
No links because the links and info is everywhere (insane that Apple jumped over $6/share earlier after the announcements).
I am GREATLY disappointed there was no announcement on the iSight. No news of replacement. No silent addition to the Apple Store. It’s just gone. I guess it’s really time to hit up ebay. I was waiting and waiting for MWSF to hope Jobs would drop a new one, but I guess not.

Perhaps I need to use this info here on the blog….
This is awesome – virtual language keyboards
Virtual Keyboard Gate2Home.com – Type in your language, anywhere
On my home machine, easy peasy. But at work, I don’t want to install IMEs, etc. This is great! a good concept.
edit: Okay, I just tried it out. A little less than great. In fact, maybe I should try things before posting about them. Or at least say that I haven’t tried (I usually do). I tried typing in Korean, but it wrote out the string of letters English style, one after the other, instead of combining them as Korean writing does.
Neither rain nor sleet nor whatever else
The Sun Online – News: That’s a really first-class sketch
This guy drew a MAP on the envelop and the card arrived! Maybe because the UK is smaller than the USA, but I don’t think this would happen here.
Oh those children of privilege
Black Tie Optional – New York Times – a different kind of party….
I get the feeling that at a HUGE state school, this might be more orgy than anything else… but maybe I’m putting too little faith in big state schools.
Next thing in jeans
Nothing new to adorn denims with random things. But this is kind of cooler than random “bedazzled” jeans.
(thanks to Kit Me Out for the pic). This company, Wahoojin, paints trad Asian designs on the denim. Maybe not as nice as perfectly worn raws, but interesting for the people who like their denim fancy. I had some problems loading the US site, but maybe you’ll have better luck: Wahoojin USA.

I’m something of a biter. Hmm, perhaps a bit too much info. Anyways, this necklace is cool. I blogged about this site before on the old blog about the Heart and Dagger necklace
I know I need to pull the old blog stuff and put it up here. Maybe I will over the weekend…..
